The introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the various trials across Australia has led to a dramatic increase on quality and safeguarding. Of particular note is the expansion of one-to-one support in people's homes and the community, which will pose new challenges in terms of safeguarding people with disability. In addition the introduction of the national Quality and Safeguarding Framework will bring a range of compliances will be required of providers of services in an NDIS.
