Hot Topics (Session 4): The Challenge of Liveable, Affordable Housing for People with Disability
National Disability Services invites your organisation to attend the fourth of its 2014 'Hot Topics' Breakfast Series events for Board Members, CEO's and Senior Management.
The ‘Home Ownership and Affordability for People Living with Disability in Western Australia’ report was launched at the recent NDS WA State Conference.
The report confirms that resolving housing and accommodation issues for people with disability is a complex area with no simple solutions. This is particularly so as Western Australia has been identified as one the most expensive real estate and rental markets in Australia putting extra stress on people with disability and their families to find suitable housing that they can afford.
Join thought leader and housing industry spokesperson Dale Alcock, Managing Director, Alcock Brown-Neaves Group, as he discusses the challenge of providing liveable, affordable housing for People with Disability and how industry, government and the disability sector can work together to find solutions at this not to be missed event.
