Hot Topics (Session 3): Fraud and Governance in the Not for Profit Sector
National Disability Services WA (NDS WA) invites your organisation to attend the third of its 2014 'Hot Topics' Breakfast Series events for Board Members, CEO's and Senior Management.
Don’t miss this seminar on Fraud and Governance in the Not For Profit Sector with insights gained from the BDO Not-For-Profit Fraud Survey 2014.
James Manning and Michael Cassidy from BDO will be joined by Professor David Gilchrist Director of the Curtin Not-for-Profit initiative to present the fifth biennial BDO Not-For-Profit Survey results, which build on a decade of insightful knowledge gained in previous surveys to identify how fraud is affecting the sector.
The results of this year’s survey identify the perception and level of fraud. The survey also examines the link between various risk management practices and the incidence of fraud.
The panel will discuss the ways organisations with limited budgets, limited commercial experience can enhance their prospects for fraud prevention.
Join us to hear about the types of fraud that are occurring in the sector, their prevalence and, most importantly, the key methods you can use in your organisation to prevent, identify and control fraud.
