Positive Behaviour Support
This workshop is an interactive session where you will explore the potential
triggers and the contributing factors affecting behavioural change. As a
participant you will identify what possible purpose or function the behaviour
has for an individual and explore ways for them to look at the whole picture,
not just the behaviour presented. Participants will examine case studies and
explore strategies to develop a behavioural support plan, in order to prevent
challenging situations from escalating. This course will also look at
restrictive practices and you will have an opportunity to practice
self-protection strategies and effective ways to minimise stress.
Please note that this is a one day training course and you attend one of the days not both
