Using Medication Wisely Seminar with John Watkins
Richmond Fellowship WA in conjunction with HESTA, CBB and CSI are proud to present John Watkins.
John Watkins will bring a keynote presentation 'Using Medication Wisely' followed by respondent speakers
- Dr Nathan Gibson, Chief Psychiatrist of Western Australia
- Deirdre Criddle, National Pharmacist of the Year
After which there will be a panel discussion drawn from John Watkins, Dr Nathan Gibson, Deirdre Criddle, Amanda Waegeli (Consumer), Kerry Hawkins (Family Member) and Lyn Mahboub (Consumer/Family Member).
Following lunch, John Watkins will continue the discussion drawing upon the long tradition in which acute psychosis has been viewed as a state of profound mental and/or spiritual “dis-ease” rather than as a disease in the conventional medical sense and his presentation will conclude with a panel discussion.
