In this timely and practical session, Professor David Gilchrist of Curtin University will be reviewing the financial reporting standards that were circulated by the Commonwealth Government and which apply to all charities from 1 July this year. The session will also take a look at the Governance Standards that have also been introduced. The key issues covered will include such elements as:
- What is required
- What the framework is for regulation and supervision
- When should organisations review their Constitution
- How affected entities might maintain a balanced response to these changes and how they might use them to their advantage.
