Session 2
Conflict is a normal part of everyday life, so managing conflict is not about avoiding it, but knowing how to resolve disagreements in a healthy and productive way.
This workshop will explore different types of conflict, along with a range of tools and techniques for dealing with conflict effectively. Topics covered include:
- The link between needs and conflict
- Real and perceived threats
- Healthy and unhealthy responses
- Emotional awareness and regulating stress
- Positive communication skills and effective listening
- How to remain outcomes focussed
- Dealing with argumentative people
