Quick & Slick Session 2 – Conflict Resolution 101

Session 2

Conflict is a normal part of everyday life, so managing conflict is not about avoiding it, but knowing how to resolve disagreements in a healthy and productive way.

This workshop will explore different types of conflict, along with a range of tools and techniques for dealing with conflict effectively. Topics covered include:

  • The link between needs and conflict
  • Real and perceived threats
  • Healthy and unhealthy responses
  • Emotional awareness and regulating stress
  • Positive communication skills and effective listening
  • How to remain outcomes focussed
  • Dealing with argumentative people

Who Should Attend?

Frontline staff, Team Leaders, Co-ordinators, Managers or anyone needing to manage or resolve conflict.
