Supervision Skills

This workshop will give a clear definition of supervision, provide a clear practice model for supervision, identify skill areas for development as a supervisor or supervisee, the opportunity to practice the model and giving feedback on work performance.

Are the following situations familiar?

  • You supervise people who were your workmates
  • You supervise people who work off-site
  • You supervise people who have a different professional background and training to you
  • Finding the line between supervision and performance management has not always been easy
  • Accountability, authority and power in the supervisory relationship have not always been clear
