NDIS Provider Toolkit Workshop

The NDIS Provider Toolkit (the Toolkit) is an essential resource for organisations transitioning to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Since 2014 the Toolkit has been used by organisations to rate the degree to which their business practices are fully optimised for the NDIS. 

The Toolkit includes:

• a self-assessment tool,  organisations rate their level of ‘readiness’ against 7 key business domains
• a key financial tool, which provides a snapshot of an organisation’s financial position via ratios on disability revenue concentration, liquidity, debt and sustainability.

Completing the Toolkit online generates a number of planning resources that have been enhanced in the 2016 version:

• a gap analysis of your capacity against your desired position
• a benchmark report, providing a comparison against your previous reports and like providers, and
• an editable NDIS development plan

Half day advanced workshop:

This workshop is designed for organisations that have undertaken a self-assessment and are looking to leverage the functionality of the Toolkit resources to develop a plan to address the gaps.

-          Introduction of 2016 Toolkit enhancements

-          Review of sector readiness based on the 2014 and 2015 assessments

-          Practical applications of the Toolkit results, utilising

• presentation of a case study on how an organisations has used the development plan and gap analysis
• applying theory into practice – building your own development plan

Who should attend:

-          Providers who have completed or nearly completed the Toolkit

-Providers looking understand how the Toolkit can further their organisational readiness
