Stories of Transformation
This workshop will provide an opportunity to explore social work and activism through the Buddhist teaching of suffering. In this space participants will delve into some of the philosophical teachings of yoga as well as modern day manifestations and research. Participants will be invited to consider moment-to-moment awareness in practice as a tool for reflective practice, as well as shifting the focus off the ‘client’ to notice the growth of the social worker/self.
