NDIS 101 for Team leaders and Coordinators
Attend this interactive workshop if you have had little or no exposure to an NDIS trial site in Western Australia. The workshop will assist you to gain an understanding of the NDIS and the impact the changes may have on the people you support and your organisation, including your role.
The session will:
- Provide information regarding the NDIS;
- Compare the way in which the NDIS is different from the way organisations currently support People with Disability;
- Outline what you need to be aware of in your role; and
- How to support people with disability, families, carers and your staff through change.
Who should attend?
Disability service organisation Coordinators, Team Leaders and Management level staff, who have not experienced a WA trial site, are new to the Sector or new to their role.
