Planning Beyond Behaviour Training
An evidence based approach to supporting people who sometimes experience challenging behaviour.
This 3-day training workshop provided by the Disability Services Commission for Behaviour Support Consultants/Leaders, together with their behaviour support champions, is delivered within an emerging community of practice and is designed to:

- develop knowledge and skills to assess the quality of behaviour support plans using the Behaviour Support Plan—Quality Evaluation Guide II (BSP-QEII)
- assist organisations to embed Positive Behaviour Support.
During the training staff will have opportunity to develop and assess the quality of a behaviour support plan for a person supported by their organisation.

- Organisations need to register 3-4 staff members who attend together to support the development of a community of practice and assist with the process of implementing Positive Behaviour Support within their organisaiton.
- Each organisation needs to nominate a lead representative from the group attending the training to act as a contact person.
- Each representative should have prior Positive Behaviour Support training and/or good experience in Positive Behaviour Support.
