Are you able to share your home with a young adult with a disability? An 18 year old man requires a safe, stable home environment in which he has the opportunity to develop his life skills and social connections and move towards independent living. We are looking for an Alternative Family Living Provider who is able to provide a comfortable home environment; support to learn and develop life and social skills and a spare bedroom or 'granny flat'. You will be required to support our client during the evenings and weekends (and some weekdays); to include and involve him in your own family activities and support him to participate in his community. As part of your role, you will also be required to provide transport and will need a full drivers licence and access to a vehicle.
