WA Quality System – what you need to know
An overview of the National Standards for Disability Services and the enhanced WA Quality system.
This is an information session to learn more about the enhanced WA Quality System and will include information about the introduction of the National Standards for Disability Services and what this means for your organisation and the people with disability you work with.
The session will cover:
- the National Standards
- Ways to support people with disability, families and carers to understand the Standards
- differences between the previous and current quality system
- requirements for organisations under the enhanced quality system.
You will receive resources to support understanding as part of the session.
Note: This information session provides an overview of the National Standards and the WA Quality System. More in-depth information about the evidence requirements, self-assessments, pre-evaluation, evaluation and post-evaluation will be covered in NDS training across the state between February and April 2015.
