Anglicare WA would like to invite you to an upcoming workshop on 31 March 2014, with Dr Barbara Meddin.
CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT is for anyone who works with children, who would like to know what to do if they suspect a child is being harmed, or is at risk of harm.
The workshop is designed to enable people to
- Recognise the signs of abuse
- Respond appropriately to disclosure
- Know procedures when maltreatment is suspected
- Understand the implications, legislation, confidentiality issues, rights and obligations around reporting
