IR Update: New year new provisions
This informative session will give an overview of the new IR laws and provide practical tips as to how you should manage the new changes.
New Industrial Relations laws came into effect on the 1 January 2014 which are likely to have a significant impact in the Disability Sector.
The significant changes include
- Provisions which are aimed at stopping bullying in the workplace.
- New requirements regarding consultation over changes to rosters
- A broadening of the groups of employees that can make application for flexible working hours.
- Broader entry rights for Unions to enter an employer’s workplace
This informative session will give an overview of the new laws as well as providing practical tips as to how you should manage the new changes.
