Home Modifications for People with Dementia workshop

Are you an Occupational Therapist looking to develop your understanding of, or update your skills and knowledge in Home Modifications? This interactive workshop might just be the opportunity you are looking for.

 

At the Home Modifications for People with Dementia workshop you will learn about:

  • Broad principles for evaluating product and design requirements
  • Barriers and design solutions
  • Resources to assist clinical practice including information from overseas settings, to inform Australia practice
  • As well as an opportunity to discuss and problem solve case scenarios from your own work setting

 

Target audience: The target audience for the workshop includes occupational therapy practitioners, people working in the building industry, and others.

Presenter: The workshops will be presented by Liz Ainsworth from Home Design for Living. Liz is a passionate Occupational Therapist with over 20 years’ experience working in the housing field, and disability and aged care sectors. This is her third year presenting workshops with the ILC and we are delighted to have her return.

Early bird tickets: $300

Standard tickets: $350

Attendees are welcome to bring case studies on the day for discussion and morning tea and lunch will be provided.
