Free Workforce Development Workshop in Perth
In partnership with the WA Community Services, Health & Education Traning Council, CS&HISC is running a two hour practical workshop covering an approach to planning and techniques that enhance outcomes from workforce development. This workshop is designed specifically for community services and health sector service providers such as children’s services, disability services, mental health, aged care, community services and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health.
The session will provide an opportunity to address workforce issues relevant to your organisation, with the support from a CS&HISC facilitator. Everyone will receive a tool kit to use in the workplace which can also provide the basis of an application for the National Workforce Development Fund.
The workshops will:
- Provide opportunity for you to identify your goals/needs about workforce planning
- Reference and use a practical workforce planning guide and checklist
- Provide links to tools and resources you can use in your organisation
- Explore ideas to help with workforce plans and projects
This workshop is suitable for people responsible for workforce planning/training and development and managers, particularly from small-medium organisations. Priority places will be offered to service providers rather than RTOs as numbers are limited.
